SCALLOPED OYSTERS
1 1/2 pints shucked oysters
1 cup melted butter
1 cup crumbled saltines
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 cup cream
Drain the oysters and reserve the liquor. Melt the butter and mix into the cracker crumbs. Season with the pepper. Butter a baking dish liberally. Spread half the crumbs into the dish. Place the oyster evenly over the base. Warm the cream, oyster liquor, and the remaining seasonings in a small pan. Pour this over the oysters. Top with the other half of the crumbs. Dot with butter and bake in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes, or until the top is browned.
